WA Academy has Government Funded courses available to eligible jobseekers in Skills for Success – SHB20121 Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics (Full Time).
These Government Funded courses are available through our Job Seeker Program for those who are either unemployed or underemployed.
The Government Funded Job Seeker Program delivers a choice of Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics (make-up) and Certificate II in Salon Assistant (Hairdressing). In order to qualify for this program you must possess a current Health Care Card.

The course duration is 15 weeks (4 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at WA Academy campus in Bentley from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day and Thursday is a work experience placement that we will arrange for students in a hairdressing salon near to their home (compulsory for the job seeker program).
The course is Government Funded and the total tuition fees are $676.20. These fees can either be paid in full or on a payment plan over the 15 week course duration via direct debit.
